Web of Science -- Covers the top journals in all subject areas and is the largest database for scholarly research on plants and animals. 

PubMed -- Largest database on human biology, medicine & health, molecular and genetic biology. 

JSTOR -- The collection on JSTOR has dozens of journals in biology, covering the period from when the journals started. JSTOR is good for historical as well as current information.

PsycInfo -- Indexes the scholarly research in Psychology, including biopsychology and neuropsychology. 

GreenFile -- A database for environmental studies research.

National Agricultural Library -- From the U.S. National Agricultural Library, this database provides citations to the agricultural literature from journals, books and technical reports.
