Ways to Search for Requests

List Requests for a Specific Patron

1. Click on "Tipasa Home" in the left column.

2. In the Search box type in the patron's last name. Then select a button to search Active or Closed requests.

Search for a Request by Title

1. Click on "Tipasa Home" in the left column.

2. In the Search box type in words from the title. Then select a button to search Active or Closed requests.

Note: Try to search omitting any special characters like colon, apostrophe, etc. as these searches may fail. 

3. Click on a tab to view either borrowing, lending or document delivery requests.

List All Requests, Active or Closed

1. Click on "Tipasa Home" in the left column.

2. In the Search box type in our OCLC symbol, IBK. Then select a button to search Active or Closed requests.

3. A table appears showing all the either Active or Closed requests. You can sort the table by column by clicking on the arrow next to a column header. (For instance, to find all requests from a particular patron.)

Downloading PDFs

If you think a patron has not received a pdf article, you can retrieve the pdf from the Tipasa staff interface and send it to them via email. 

1. Search closed requests using the method above.

2. Click on the request ID or title to view the request. 

3. Click the PREVIEW button to view the pdf in the pdf viewer. Click the download button to save the pdf to a location on your computer.

4. Email the pdf as an attachment to the patron.
