Use Zotero to Manage and Cite References

Zotero is free! Zotero allows you to collect your research, both citations and full text documents (pdfs). You have the ability to organize the research however you like. Later, you can integrate Zotero into Google Docs or MS Word to help you make proper citations and a bibliographies. To get started go to the Zotero site to download both the Zotero app and the Zotero connector (for use in your browser).

Zotero Connector and SciFinder

The Zotero Connector does a poor job of scraping citations from a SciFinder results page. To get results from SciFinder into Zotero:

1. Select the references you want by ticking the box to the left of the titles.

2. Tap the Download button that appears at the top of the results page.

3. Select the option to download the results in the .RIS format:

4. In Zotero, go to the File menu and select Import. Navigate to the location of the ,RIS file.
