For Books and Articles:
1. Check Knox Primo for availability; for articles type in the title of the article in the search box
2. If not available at Knox, search Knox Primo under "All I-Share Libraries"
3. If not available via I-Share, use the Tipasa interlibrary loan service.
Use Knox Primo to discover books that may be available for loan from another I-Share library.
As a Knox student, you are free to borrow materials from any of the other 94 I-Share libraries whenever you want. See this guide for detailed information on using I-Share to request books.
The books in the Knox libraries are (mostly) arranged on the shelves using the Library of Congress (LC) classification system. This means that books are grouped together by subject, allowing you to quickly find related materials on a topic. When you find a book relevant to your topic take some time and browse the shelves in that area to find more relevant books.
Below are some relevant call number sections for topics in environmental studies, but remember that if your topic is more interdisciplinary, you will find books elsewhere.
