Policies and Privileges for Borrowed Materials
Knox faculty, staff and students may be blocked from borrowing materials at Knox for failure to return items promptly. In most cases borrowing privileges can be reinstated very quickly by contacting the library Circulation department libcirc@knox.edu.
Patrons may be blocked from requesting materials at individual I-Share libraries if they have incurred any one of a number of blocks based on failure to pay fines or return materials on time. Patrons will always receive notices of loan problem prior to any action, and patrons are encouraged to work directly with the library who owns the items in question to resolve the issues. Knox faculty, staff and students should contact the library Circulation department libcirc@knox.edu if they need help in resolving borrowing issues with other I-Share libraries.
