Look for books and reports of archaeological excavations in Knox Primo. Suggested strategies:

A. Use keywords for the specific site, or more broadly, a time period or type of site, you are interested in. Examples:

  • Cahokia
  • neolithic
  • burial mound

B. Combine appropriate keywords with these specific terms: excavations OR antiquities. These two terms are included in subject headings for items related to archaeology. Examples:

  • Illinois antiquities
  • England excavations
  • Arizona and (antiquities OR excavations)
