What you need to know about the NYTimes Group Pass program:
- The Group Pass gives you unlimited access to all content* on the NYTimes.com, including archived articles since 1851 with exception to those articles published between 1923 to 1980. However, each day of the annual pass, users may access up to 5 complimentary archived NYTimes.com articles published between the years 1923 through 1980. If you need articles from the archive, you can also visit The Historical New York Times database for unlimited access to articles from 1851-2010.
- If you already have an existing paid NYTimes.com digital subscription under your knox.edu email, you can cancel the existing paid digital subscription by calling (800) 591-9233. Once you cancel your existing paid NYTimes.com account, please wait 24 to 48 hours for old account to clear. Log out of your existing NYTimes.com account, then go to the account login page to create an account under the Group Pass program.
- The Group Pass includes free access to smartphone apps at http://www.nytimes.com/services/mobile/index.html. Apps are available for iPhone/iPod Touch, Android and Windows. Mobile apps for tablets are not available with the Group Pass, however, you can access the NYTimes.com mobile site (mobile.nytimes.com) using your tablet's browser.
