Citing Web Sources

Use the Chicago Manual of Style to find out how to properly cite web sites. See Chapter 14.205 "Websites, Blogs, and Social Media."

BUT...

... The Chicago Manual of Style specifies that web content is "...original content from online sources other than the types of formally published documents..."  

SO..

... you need to figure out if the web content in question exists (or existed) as a formally published document. If so, then use the citation format for that type of content.
