Bird Identification

Birds of the World brings together scholarly content from several works of ornithology with millions of bird observations from eBird and multimedia from the Macaulay Library. Explore comprehensive life history information on birds, view stunning images, and listen to bird songs. 

The Cornell Lab makes a bird identification app called Merlin Bird ID. Find it in the Apple App Store or on Google Play.

  • The Primal Mind -- This film examines the differences between Native American and Western cultures, including their contrasting views of nature, time, space, art, architecture, and dance.
