To get an idea of what scientists in this field are researching go to the a journal's home page and browse some recent issues. On the journal's web site find a link to "latest issue" or "all issues" or similar language to browse issues. Then look at the the tables of contents to identify articles on a topic. National Agricultural Library Catalog -- This database contains citations to books, technical reports and journal articles, from 1970 to the present, on all aspects of agriculture.
GeoRef is the one database that covers all the literature of geology and related geosciences fields. It contains citations to both academic journal articles and technical reports.
Greenfile -- covers all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more.
Web of Science -- An index of over 11,000 high quality journals in the sciences, social sciences and humanities. There is no full text in this database; you can obtain articles not available in the Knox Library by using our Tipasa interlibrary loan service.
