In general, these dictionaries allow you to look up transliterated words in Japanese and get English definitions. A couple allow you to look up words phonetically in kana (such as Kodansha's furagana Japanese dictionary).
Many of materials are available only in the Reference Room in Seymour Library. The Reference Room is adjacent to the reference desk, directly across from the circulation desk.
