MLA Style

MLA (Modern Language Association)

Researchers in the Humanities, including Modern Languages, commonly use the MLA Citation Style.  This system uses in-text citations and a Works Cited (bibliography) to document sources. Consider using these MLA citation resources:

  • In the Seymour Library Reference Room,  find the print MLA Handbook: LB2369 .G53 2009

Gibaldi, Joseph. MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers. New York: Modern Language Association of America, 2009. Print.
