There are a lot of citation management tools available free to students. If a student is looking for a citation management program consider using Zotero. Check with your professor, as they may wish you to use a different tool or have another preference for how to do citations.
The librarians at Knox suggest that you do NOT use tools like easybib, citation machine, or son of citation machine. These tools frequently give incorrect citations.
Citing sources is an essential part of participating in the "scholarly conversation." It's a way of showing the work you've done as well as giving proper credit. If you need help with citations you can ask any of the librarians for help. The sooner you ask for help the more we will be able to do so please come in early.
