Scope Notes: The collection consists of American sheet music with copyright dates ranging form 1882-1948. The collection contains 343 popular song titles, the main bulk of which date between 1910-1920. The cover graphics are colorful and rich with themes and attitudes of the period. Included is an inventory taken from a database which can be searched by title, composer or lyricist.
