Scope Notes: This collection was created by the Order of Bookfellows, a literary society founded by George S. Seymour (1878-1945) and Flora Warren Seymour (1888-1948). The collection was donated to Knox College in 1952. The collection includes letters, documents, notes, and photos written by or related to various political and royal figures in France. In addition, the collection includes correspondence from literary figures Alexandre Dumas, Jules Verne and Victor Hugo. Further there is a letter from Henrik Ibsen in German and a number of documents in Spanish from Mexican royal and political figures.
