Faith Baldwin Papers

Biographical Notes: Faith Baldwin (Cuthrell) was born 1 October 1893 in New Rochelle, NY and died 19 March 1978. She published many fiction romance novels and wrote two books under the pen name Amber Lee. She wrote a column that was published in Woman's Day magazine from 1958 to 1965. Baldwin lived in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Scope Notes: Letters and cards from Faith Baldwin to Elizabeth Proctor Biggs (1911-2000) from 1950 to 1959. Elizabeth P. Biggs was the author of Beyond the Limit of Our Sight (1978). The correspondence began a friendship that was maintained only through mail. The two never met, yet their correspondence involved personal topics, as well as matters of writing, spirituality and spiritualism.
